Michael Mann, associate designer of Sigil, has answered a series of questions about the druid class in the upcoming MMO Vanguard: Saga of Heroes.
Previously, the druid class had very little information released about it, perhaps due to being unfinished. Now Michael has finally revealed some very detailed information on the druid's powers, abilities, and role in Vanguard. The druid influences nature itself, and his spells reflect that. A druid can cause a storm or strike an enemy with lightning, and even summon huge elementals to help him dispose of his enemies.
Even better, the druid's spells are made more or less powerful depending on certain variables. For example, a lightning attack's power is increased if the enemy has been doused in water or if a storm is brewing.
The druid also serves as a backup healer and buffer with some beneficial spells in his repertoire.
Overall, it looks to be an extremely interesting and powerful class, and one that I personally will be keeping an eye on.
