I am very interested n Vanguard and I would like to try it please, if anyone would be so kind and inclined to give me one I would be much in your debt.
Also, please offer a valid link to where I can download the client? I am looking now, but just in case I don't find it that would also be greatly appreciated!
I loved Everquest and played a necromancer for 7 years and I am in great hopes that Vanguard has some similarities, and some differences to make it a new gaming experience for me.
I played UO from beta for about 9-10 years and since that I have played EQ1, EQ2, EQOA, DAoC, SWG, FF, AD&D online, Horizons, AO, EVE, LotR, CoH, CoV, and prob more I am forgetting right now! I love MMO's as you can see and I want to add this to my list of long term games. So please help me if you are able. Thank you very much in advance!

Sorry I have no good news either for you, jpharber. I have used up all the trial keys I had. You can download the game here www.joinvanguard.com/install, but that is not too exciting without a key. But this game is that good that you should just bite the bullet and buy it. Especially a seasoned player like you will definitely love it.

Well, I went ahead and took a chance and bought it.
At first, I thought I didn't like it, but you need to take a chance to get used to a new game, also, it ws like midnight when it finished patching, and I was tired and cranky. Anyway, I am only level 6 Necromancer, but I actually like it quite a bit. I can run it on the highest settings and it seems to run fine, but I always turn them down some and it looks the same to me anyway.
I had a problem at first having a vista computer and it was a DX error, so I just went and downloaded dx9.c since most vista systems just have 10 and not 9 and it causes problems, then it worked fine.
So, I would say if you are thinking of trying it, just download it and take a chance and I am sure you will like it.

Yay! Good move. I am sure you will love it. Be sure to make a woodelf as well at some point. The beautiful city of Cai'al Brael is something you should not miss, even if it always seems to rain there.
