Yesterday I went to visit Tanvu for the first time. Kettle had some quests received from Shaof the Lao'Jin Grand Master. So I decided to say hi to the grandmaster as well. Apparently Shaof didn't mind giving me his quests too, so I accepted the 5 quests he handed out. The first four quests all involved the big building close by. It went reasonably well, and we cleared 3 quests. But then we had to do a quest involving jumping over rooftops, and my tiny Raki legs and long dress made this rather awkward. So we broke up for diner. I think we gained maybe 1 or 2 bubs xp for 2 hours adventuring. Normal progress, I think.
After diner I was ready to leave Tanvu, but I didn't want to leave the last quest, 'The Final Tests of Jin', open, so I decided to quickly do it. It took a bit longer than expected, since the quest evolved into 21 small side quests. None of these quests were hard. Especially not for a lvl 12. Mostly killing mobs lvl 7-10. But I had a fun time. A lot of cool locations and original side quests, like jumping into the void, and a quiz round with a ghost.
But one thing was completely out of proportions. After I completed the whole quest sequence I had gained a full! level of experience. The xp stood in no relation to the effort I had put into it. I sort of felt like I had cheated. Especially compared to the pains and efforts I had gone through for the level before.

That Rooftops quest, jumping from building to building, was my very most least favorite so far! Most of the time I'd jump and land in-between a building and have to get a /rope back up again!

Yeah, I agree. I was actually happy I died and out of that place. I ended up abandoning the rooftops quest entirely.

I'll have to agree it was quite annoying. Even though you only need to kill 4 of them, the respawn on them was something like 20 minutes and only one of the mobs you need spawns with each spawn. So what should be a quick down and dirty, ends up getting dragged out into an 80 minute ordeal, and that's only if you don't fall off the roof and have a group that's big enough or high enough level.
