How do you achieve a balance between your online, gaming lives and and RL...
It's not always an easy thing to do. My family, hubby & kids included have always found gaming an enjoyable, inexpensive pasttime... but we balance that with RL get togethers and fun times... like our "family poker nights" How do you all do it?

I force myself to have a one night a week get together with my old team from Motorola; every Wednesday we have a movie night at my place and order a pizza and watch something the do not get to watch at home. I am the last single and kid free one left so we watch stuff like the Soprano's, Rescue Me, the Shield, and other TV shows that are really not family friendly and we are all in tech and management fields and vent about work issues etc. One bad thing is that for a long time I used to work out 3 times a week and since really getting into MMORPG's I find that I can even consistently pull of once a month. It really is vital that folks unplug at least once a week though or I find they tend to get a bit erratic in their game play and yes I do speak from personal experience. :)

My balance consists of trying not to get on the PC till after the kids go to bed. I'm fairly good at it too. Once in a while I'll take a break to spend an evening watching a movie with the wife.
It's a shame money is short at the moment or she would be joining me in Vanguard also. Sadly her laptop has a Radeon 9000, thus crushing any hopes of VSoH running on it.
