I waited to long and did not order my Vanguard Limited Edition early enough so had to do the pre order box at Best Buy (forgive me BP), and am told I will have to get one of the 4 boxes that are coming locally but will not be able to reserve one it will be first come first serve. Along those lines will my pre order key cause the game to stop functioning right away or is a built in 1 or 2 week grace period come with the pre order key? I going straight to the store during my lunch break Tuesday!

Yea! I can hear that Vanguard Release Clock ticking down all the way over here Phedre! :-)
Good luck Mikey... you might want to check with the store today though as some people are saying they got their box already! Couldn't hurt. ;-)
Edit: I just wanted to add that Glip the Gnome (Sigil) posted over at silkyvenom that there will be a bit of leeway if you don't get your retail box by tomorrow, but no specifics.

As an update I was able to get the Collector's Edition and it is such an exquisite box I have it in a closed cabinet now behind glass. The inside of the box is really impressively made and the goodies as pictured in Phedre's screenshot are really really nice. I had to basically burn half a day of time off from work to get the 6th of 8 copies that landed in my little shire of the real world. :) I think like the Diable II Limited Edition goodies I will be enjoy this regularly long past the life of the game. :)
