As you gain GameAmp credibility you rise in level. On many of the other GameAmp sites we have very fitting titles for all the levels. But here at Vanguard we are still titleless. That is of course not acceptable. So I am looking at you, Vanguard junkies.
Anybody that will suggest a title fitting as a Vanguard we will actually use will be awarded 25 credibility per title. There are in total 20 titles to be filled. So it is time to put on your thinking caps and generate some great titles!!
Just to get some ideas:
level 1: Beetle Biter
level 2: Apple Worm Junkie
level 3: Turtle Toaster
level 4: Symbiote Host
level 5: Kaon Fairy
level 6: Pants Thief
level 7: Gossiper
level 8: Varking's Hammer
level 9: Shipwright
level 10: Envoy of GameAmp
level 11: Weathered Warrior
level 12: Phedre Wannabe
level 13: Blackmail Betty
level 14: Gelenia's Spellbook
level 15: Journeyman
level 16: Rooftops Roper
level 17: The man in white
level 18: Lao'Jin Grand Master
level 19: Raidmaster Supreme
level 20: Emperor of Telon

Well, I don't know the story behind it, but the Sigil community manager, Glip the Gnome always had "Where's my pants?" in his sig. So maybe one of the titles could be Pants Theif?

One of the really unique things about GameAmp as a whole is the credibilty system and one thing I definately do not see on any other sites is that the admin's and staff here are actually willing to lay it out for folks to see which is so refreshing and one of the many reasons I plan to be around here a very long time!
Oh yes and love the reference BP that is a great added note. :)

Hello all... I have been lurking here for awhile now *looks at Mikesterbrau* :-) and since Vanguard is up and running figured it was time to sign up. And what better thread to do so with a chance to win some credibility. :-) I'd like to submit Turtle Toaster for your consideration. (love those turtles on the beach in Tanvu!)

Great to have you here Tyr! I saw some other folks I thought I had seen on GameAmp on tonight as well and think this game will definately be a big contributor to GameAmp's place in the world. Those turtle's are not to bad but if you go to far into the water some kind of fish can put you to a quick end if it is dark. (thus recognizing my first in game death)

Time to remind everybody to put in your suggestions. Once the list is full I will delete this thread so that it will be a surprise to what you new title will be.
I was thinking maybe some names out of the lore can be used as well.
- Varking's Hammer
- Gelenia's Spellbook
Or a diplomatic title
- Council member

I like some of those that are in place now as well as some from game like Eldar, Novice, Master, and Clerk. At level 3 here I like being a commoner much more than being a peasant. :)

I've earned a few titles in the game. Maybe we could use a couple of those. Devotee of the wind, Novice blacksmith, etc..
In case anyone doesn't know, you can check your titles and change what and if it's displayed on your character screen ©. There is a + button at the top next to where your name is. You can also check them on your vgplayers profile.

Yeah, I saw those. How did you get those slick titles. I only have boring novice outfitter and novice skinner. Are they a quest reward?

Those are actually the only two I have at the moment. The blacksmithing one is obvious. The Devotee Merin of the Wind came from one of the early Diplomacy quests. It's cool becuase the "of the Wind" part is counted as a surname so you can mix and match prefixes and surnames in your title. I think mine's currently at Novice Blacksmith Merin of the WInd. Or maybe I just didn't show the "of the wind" part. I forget.

Most of my titles so far have come from doing Diplomacy quests but I got Novice Blacksmith on making level 3. I think and noted that my Novice Miner came at exactly skill level 114.

Hmm, how about what diplomacy is all about for a few of them? For instance, Gossiper, Inspirer, Flatterer, etc...
Some of those could be used as titles.

I need a few more titles, and I can ask "the powers that be" to add them to the system. Any suggestions? Or perhaps comments on the titles I have cooked up so far?

How about "The man in white"?
Referring to that guy that seems to pop up in the character select screen from time to time, and according to Mikester, over your character now and then. The one in Lani's screenshot the other day. He's kind of mysterious and not much is known about him. I'm guessing he's some kind of god of Telon. Kinda like a Zues maybe, minus all the thunder and lightening bolts. :)

Ugh, lani. You got ugly! Are you feeling ok? Maybe you should lie down and rest for a bit.
lani's idea there gave me an funny thought for a guild. You know how there's that orginization that builds houses for low income famlies - Habitat for Humanity. It would be humorous if there was a guild named something to the effect of Habitat for Telonians, that their soul purpose was to build houses for people. :)
...you may now resume your regulary scheduled title brainstorming.

Had a thought for a title, not sure, but with all our experiences on the Stronghold's Rooftops... Rooftops Roper.

Oh, this is true....
Perhaps we could replace one of the Kojan-centric ones with something about a symbiote? Maybe Symbiote Host, or Symbiote House, or maybe something along those lines. The Kurashasa of Qalia are hosts for symbiotes.

Btw, now that I got your ear, so to speak...
Are we going to be able to work for those titles in other ways than by giving each other points for posts and submitting screenshots?
In other words, where are the add options for Guides, Articles e.t.c?
Ok, right now all I could do is write a guide along the lines of "Twenty-four most interesting ways to die before reaching level 10", but that might change.
A Tips & Hints section might be cool too.
