| whats a good class for me |

i'm looking for a decent solo class, so not a class wheree i'm in the back. i'd be in the front. i'd like a class that whears large armor (if posible) and wields melee weapons such as swords for example. the class should be able to heal themself if posible, and cast range spells on aponets, and buffs on them selves.
i was thinking a dread knight or a cleric, your opppinion is much appreasheated.

Hi BishopXi, welcome to GameAmp.
There are quite a few classes that will manage to do quite well on their own. But from what you describe I think you will be the most happy with a Paladin . A paladin has great armor, handles heavy weapons and has some powerful healing and buffing abilities. A cleric has even better healing skills, but is more a support character since it is not as powerful in dealing damage. If you really want powerful ranged attacks you could try a sorceror, but you will have close to no defense. Of course it all relative to your own playing style, but I would recommend you start with a Paladin.

YES, let's hear it for Paladins! Ok but in most games I can recommend the Paladin class at the very least as a good safe class to start and learn a game on. You have the heavy armor factor to help you survive any early mistakes in game along with heals for yourself and others. Glad to see another new face here. :)

Not as of yet. But a new range of shirts is in the making. I am not sure when they come out, but we'll keep you posted!

I created a Ranger but I'm really interested in the Bard class.
Has any played a Bard at all and is it really as 'cool' as it looks. :)

I played a bard up to level 3 in beta, so that doesn't count. But I think it is as cool as it sounds. The idea that you can start spinning your own tunes got me really intrigued. I will definetaly try one out.

I have a bard as an alt but only got him to level 2 last night and am looking forward to playing my bard.
